My 2 year-old grandson is using his leg muscles...not just his thumb...to move this bike.

Max is learning the power of his own body can make things move. He is developing gross motor skills and problem solving.

Those darn motorized toys are helping keep our kids obese and lazy.

This bike is the link between push-crawling manipulation and self-peddling. The CHILD is the motor while the adult is still helping steer for safety.

This is a must have toy to build self-confidence, independence, and exercise!

We love this little tricycle! We bought it for our 12-month-old son for his first birthday. Although he is obviously not yet big enough to ride it on his own, he enjoys riding around the neighborhood with his mom or dad pushing him. It was so easy to assemble, my 10-year-old son was able to do it unassisted by us. It is a really great looking tricycle, too! It has four different settings so that he will be able to fit it as he grows. It is not excessively heavy and does not seem tippy like so many other trikes! The rear tipping bucket is adorable. The pushbar is removable for easy storage or for when your child no longer needs it. We purchased the seatbelt to go with it which works even better than I had imagined. We are very happy with this purchase so far and our son loves it, too!

This is a great product I bought it for my twin daughters and they totally LOVE it, my oldest son also LOVES it.... I didn't give it 5 stars because the front wheel doesn't lock, so if I am pushing my child they can move anywhere they want, but I guess that's because I bought the cheapest of the Kettler trikes.

My husband and I purchase this tricycle for our 2 year old son for Christmas. Our son loves it and enjoys putting all sorts of toys in the back. He likes the "parent" handle on the back and is learning what steering and peddling are all about.

The only two negative things are a couple screw were missing but my husband, an engineer, was able to make things work. The screw that holds the handle bars to the main frame isn't the correct one so the yellow plastic piece at the joint doesn't fit as it should. Our son doesn't notice and it works for us...We'll change it soon. The drawing on the assemly directions isn't very good at all...my husband figured how to assemble it with some tinkering but didn't find the assemly process too lengthy or frustrating.

This is a great purchase and it has been a joy to see our son enjoy learning how to ride it at our local park.

My 2 year old received this for Christmas and LOVES IT! The push bar is great! He rides this tricycle pretty much everyday. Have had no problems with it and we like him being able to pedal while we push so he can learn to pedal. Great product.

I have triplet daughters, and don't have the time or money to waste. When looking at all of the tricycles at WalMart, and other stores, I was disappointed in the quality. Loose handle bars, seats, and obvious shortcomings in an effort ot same the manufacturer money is all I saw. The bike shops were too darn expensive. I found this beauties online and decided to give them a shot. They were not terribly expensive for a tricycle, but more than I really wanted to pay, but I thought that perhaps this was one time "you get what you pay for", and I was right! The quality of this tricycles are unsurpassed. I bought them for my daughters when they were three, and they were a little big, but they learned to ride them and are now 4 1/2 and ride them everyday. They are SOLID, and I can even get on the back of the tricycle with them on it and scoot around with them. Simple to assemble (of course I had three to put together so it took me a little longer than most), but I am extremely happy with his product and typcially don't review items. That should tell you something! This is a product that will stay in your family generation after generation should you choose to hang on to it that long. I'll sure keep a couple of these around for my grandkids.

Not the cheapest bike out there, but no regrets on this purchase.
My son was able to use it around 20 months due to the adjustable seat. It is sturdy and well made. I purchased the bell and basket- both get used all the time.

Son received this as a gift for his second birthday. I liked the color combination on this more than some of the other Kettler trikes. It really wasn't that difficult to put together. Took under an hour. Yes, it would be nice if the instructions were clearer, but they are adequate. My son was excited to see the bike and immediately jumped on. Do I wish I would have asked my parents to spend the extra dollars on the models where I could steer with the push bar? Don't know yet. My son's birthday was in January and it's been too cold to take it out. We added the bell, which has been a great source of entertainment for my son, and the basket since this model lacks the bucket. I think he'll get lots of years of use out of it since the seat is adjustable.

Let me state that I got this for FREE from Pampers gifts to grow program..Ok with that said..We were very excited to get this gift. My son is 2 and ready to ride. Putting the bike together was pretty simple. Except for one BIG problem, the handlebars keep coming off. The handlebar connection does not grip the steering for the front wheel at all. My husband had to saw the metal connection just so it would grip. And even after he did that my son still got it loose. I have written the company and I am waiting for a replacement part. I would have been very upset if I had paid for this item.
