Can’t actually comment on how this trike is when assembled, as I sent it back after futilely trying for a couple of hours to put it together. Maybe it was just the piece they sent me, but some of the parts just didn’t match the manual, and some of the bolts/screws did not properly fit the holes they were meant to fit.

Let me state that I got this for FREE from Pampers gifts to grow program..Ok with that said..We were very excited to get this gift. My son is 2 and ready to ride. Putting the bike together was pretty simple. Except for one BIG problem, the handlebars keep coming off. The handlebar connection does not grip the steering for the front wheel at all. My husband had to saw the metal connection just so it would grip. And even after he did that my son still got it loose. I have written the company and I am waiting for a replacement part. I would have been very upset if I had paid for this item.

Son received this as a gift for his second birthday. I liked the color combination on this more than some of the other Kettler trikes. It really wasn’t that difficult to put together. Took under an hour. Yes, it would be nice if the instructions were clearer, but they are adequate. My son was excited to see the bike and immediately jumped on. Do I wish I would have asked my parents to spend the extra dollars on the models where I could steer with the push bar? Don’t know yet. My son’s birthday was in January and it’s been too cold to take it out. We added the bell, which has been a great source of entertainment for my son, and the basket since this model lacks the bucket. I think he’ll get lots of years of use out of it since the seat is adjustable.

Not the cheapest bike out there, but no regrets on this purchase.
My son was able to use it around 20 months due to the adjustable seat. It is sturdy and well made. I purchased the bell and basket- both get used all the time.

Lexi had seen one at a friends house. When I purchased this early birthday gift, she immediately said “ride” and got on. She loves it! Kettler Kettrike Oceana Tricycle.
